Georgia Christmas

For those of you who don't know, Jason's parents moved to Roswell Georgia this past year. We were fortunate to have 2 weeks to spend with them over Christmas and we had such a great time! We can't wait to go back. We spent many hours around the piano singing Christmas carols together. We also made lots of yummy treats, did a lot of Christmas shopping, and played lots of games...especially Rook. I played countless games of it and still want to play more. (I guess that probably doesn't surprise a lot of you!) We also got to go to Greenwood restaurant the night we left Roswell. It was awesome southern cookin'!! Definitely the best fried chicken I've ever had. I also tasted black eyed peas and sweet potato pie for the first time. The southern hospitality was amazing. I loved how kind and inviting people were. I've decided I like the south!

Just a few friends and family enjoying Christmas carols with the piano and the oboe.

Jason made a great Santa...might need to gain a little weight for next year, but he did well. :)
Sweet little Lincoln with his mommy, Jess on Christmas morning. He is so darn sweet, we really wish we lived closer to these guys!

Dad loved having everyone around for Christmas and was sure happy!! He was like a little boy with the helicopter we got him.

My cute husband with his new coat on Christmas day. It snowed on Christmas day for the first time in over 120 years!! It was so beautiful!!

I loved how excited Esther and especially Emily were on Christmas morning! They are sweet girls!

We loved the fireplace! (especially Jason) I think we were the first to build the fire each day. It was a perfect touch to Christmas morning!

Josh and Holly...so cute! We were so glad they came from Utah and they made great Rook opponents!!

Remember Lisa Olson from The Colony? I'm pretty sure she was from Roswell. Looks beautiful there with the columns on the porch and the snow. Glad you had a good Christmas!
